A film is not finished until it meets its audience.

Moviementa starts from a simple belief: audiences across the Global South deserve access to the films, stories and conversations created from our own territories.

We are building a people-powered film circulation movement — one that connects community exhibitors, filmmakers, curators and cultural organizations through a shared platform, collective screenings, peer exchange and access to films with care, context and purpose.

Moviementa exists to strengthen the people who make cinema happen beyond traditional screens: in courtyards, classrooms, cultural centers, rooftops, backyards and borrowed walls.

Because every screening is also an act of creation.

Because audiences are not the end of the chain.

They are part of the film’s life.
